"Are you asking me to have a frenaissance?"

As much as I love a three day weekend, I was pretty bored on Saturday night. I was feeling really social and wanted to do something different and exciting. Only...I couldn't think of anyone to call. I have friends, I do- it's just that I haven't been in touch with any of them lately. I think I've just gotten so mired in my routine of seeing the same couple people all the time. So, I am starting sort of a friendship renewal project, if you will. It's off to a good start, I think. I have friend dates for Saturday and Monday. I would like to make new friends, too, but I'm not sure how to go about it really. Friendship blind dates? Online friending? Who knows. Anyway, it feels really good to have a project now; you know, something to do while I procrastinate preparing to move, getting ready for my trip, and writing my thesis...
