Brotherly Love

Yesterday while eating lunch I got a surprise text from my brother Jesse who lives in Ohio. He is in southern California for work but has this weekend off to come and visit our younger brother and me. And thus, I have my first house guest! I am beyond excited to see him, especially since the last time we visited was Christmas 2005! I really want Noah to meet him and am interested in seeing how he takes the "big brother chat". Jesse gets in tonight around 8 o'clock, so I have a lot to do before his arrival, as my house is a freakin' wreck (that's what a week of classes will do to a sparkly apartment!) It's convenient that Jesse would text me on the one weekend that I am without plans. I do still have my shift at the cat shelter on Saturday evening, but what guest wouldn't want to spend two hours with a house full of feline friends? Nothing else on the agenda really, except eating food and catching up- the perfect end to what has been a hellacious week!
