The Holiday Season

Papa & Mimi with the grandkids
I know Thanksgiving is so over & it's all about Christmas now, but just real quick, how delicious is Thanksgiving dinner? Man, have I been missing out. Also, it was such a pleasure to spend time visiting with family. Isn't a joy to be around people who love you unconditionally? I sure needed that.

On to Christmas!
I am totally getting a tree this year for the first time since moving out of the family home. I'm not into artificial trees; I just can't compromise on that fresh pine scent. However, my wee apartment cannot accomodate an eight foot Douglas Fir, either. So, I will be buying a little mini tree. Big enough for the cats to have their fill of pine needle chewing, but not so big that I can't get it up the stairs. I don't have any ornaments {or money}, so I will have to get creative in the decorating process.

Yesterday was unbearably cold for those of us with thin Arizona blood, but the chill in the air did get me in the mood for the holiday season.

I plan to watch my top three favorite Christmas movies:
It's A Wonderful Life
Home Alone
Die Hard

Like I've said before...I'm a well-rounded lady. :)
