Parenthood

I really love television. Really. In fact, 90% of what goes into my Netflix Queue is TV. I own many, many seasons of different shows from Dawson's Creek to I Love Lucy. I think TV is better than movies, because I can spend more time with the characters & watch the development over months or years. A movie is two hours, and then it's done. Unless they decide to make an overly hyped sequel or something.

Anyway, I always have at least two shows going. I watch Friends every night before bed, and when I'm done with the series I just loop back to the beginning again. I rent my other shows through Netflix, and this week it's Parenthood. I don't know if any of you watch this, but it is my mother's favorite show, and she has not stopped talking about it since it came out last January. I rented season one, and I have to agree with her. The character development is phenomenal. And, as a die hard Gilmore Girls fan, I lovelovelove Lauren Graham.

If you're looking for something to watch until your shows come back in the new year, I highly recommend Parenthood. Once I catch up to the current season, we will discuss over virtual hot cocoa. It will be awesome.

  2. love parenthood also!!! i just started watching a few months ago. mae whitman, who plays amber, sang with landon pigg in LA when he opened for guster. she kind of fascinated me in the way that interesting people do... someone told me she was on the show and i was hooked after my first episode. so many good actors and a relatable, well written story line.
