Monday, while I was browsing through my Google Reader, I read a post that featured some beautiful calligraphy. Calligraphy is a form of art that I am most passionate about. I'm by no means a creative person, and I hardly have a sophisticated appreciation of art, but I do love letters & I have nice penmanship, so calligraphy "speaks to me".
After Lindsey's post sparked so much excitement in me, I went on a hunt for more calligraphy. I stumbled upon Love, Jenna, which wasn't hard to do since this lady's been featured in many publications, including Real Simple!
I love how calligraphy is so often tied to weddings. I am just such a sucker for romance.
I'm thinking of taking a class in calligraphy. Wouldn't it be fun to write even half as lovely as these women?

ooh, those wedding invitations are gorgeous!! I love how the writing fills up the entire envelope. because, why not, right?
ReplyDeleteOMG I am in LOVE with these invites. I am suggesting them to my friend Dana right now! Thanks girl :)
ReplyDeleteI will definitely take a class with you! I have been wanting to learn calligraphy forever-I tried teaching myself once and it was quite difficult. So count me in!

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh these are so beautiful! I read today on Yahoo that the generation in 2011 will not really know hand written letters or notes.. this makes me sad.. take a class.. then pass me a note wont you!
