Is it just me, or did Mother's Day kind of sneak up on your calendar this year, too?

My mom & I get together on a fairly regular basis, so I want to do something more special for her than a simple lunch. Last year, she & Max brought breakfast over to my apartment, and we all watched Seinfeld DVDs. We will probably do something similarly relaxing this year, especially if my brother has to work, but I want to make sure that she really feels the love. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

It did! It's because May 1st was on a Sunday! So used to Mother's Day being on a double digit date! LOL We will be going to NYC to visit my mom and take her out for a seafood dinner.
