Why, hello, dear readers.
I seem to have stepped away from my blog for, oh, two weeks. Oops.
I was sort of going through a phase, you see.
This phase required that I cut out the fluff in my life, things like blogging, going to Jazzercise, wearing earrings. There really was no rhyme or reason; I guess I just needed to shake things up a bit.
Anyway, I am back in blogging action.
Let's talk about the weekend...
I am re-visiting Grey's Anatomy, hoping to catch up before the fall premiere. I'm currently on Season 4, and I can't help but feel like I should be a surgical resident at Seattle Grace Hospital. Why not me?
Saturday is the birthday of my BFFAEAE (in case you were never a 13 year-old girl: Best Friend Forever And Ever And Ever). We've been friends since we were 2 years old, ain't no thing. Saturday night, we're going to Sushi Brokers, and I can't wait to get my mouth on some avocado rolls. Nom.

I don't want to make you jealous of anything, but does your friend get serenaded by Weird Al? No? Okay.
I've heard this book is the business, so I was pleased to find out that the Tempe Public Library has so kindly placed it on the hold shelf for me. You can find me poolside, book in hand, tomorrow morning.
I am volunteering at the shelter this weekend. The above cat is named Fritz. He is clearly rather awesome. I know it's not nice to play favorites, but Fritz is my number one buddy. Could it be because he bears a striking resemblance to one Nigel?
