I've been reading Harry Potter lately. I finished the first three books in three days; the fourth is a beast and took me about four days. I am so obsessed right now.
This isn't my first time reading them, of course. I read them when they first came out, but I never read the fifth, sixth, or seventh books. I've never seen any of the movies, either, because the books were just too good {does that ever happen to you?} When the last movie came out, there was so much hype that it made me kind of interested. I knew I could never see the movie without reading the book first, and I couldn't just read Deathly Hallows without rereading all of the books. Are you still with me?
Anyway, now that I'm deep into the books again, I don't want to see the movies! Ironic, right?
I've been in Harry Potter Land for about two weeks now, and it is taking over my brain. Has there always been this much Harry Potter stuff in the world?

ReplyDeleteI actively put off seeing the final movie because I did not want the hall Harry Potter thing to end. It killed me as my brother walked around saying that seeing the movie was the "end of his childhood" because I remember reading the books out loud to him when he was too young to read to himself.
