I made a decision last week. A decision to buy shoes. It was an important decision for me, because my closet floor is in a sad state. A few months ago, in a training session, one of my coworkers asked me if there were teeth marks on the toes of my flats. The answer was yes. I am shamefaced. All of my shoes are really cheap, so I just let my cat play in them. I know it's wrong, thus the important shoe-buying decision.
I decided that I was going to buy two pairs of heels, one nude, one black, on Friday night. I even had a dream on Thursday night that I was hunting them down {sidenote: if it seems like I'm making a big deal about a routine trip to the store, it's because I am. I don't really spend money, haha.} Anyway, I get a call from my bestie on Friday after work, and she regales me with a tale of a 40% off sale at Dillard's. We go. I buy two pairs of shoes.
The next day, I buy two more at Old Navy*.
I have an addiction, sir.
*I bought a red/tan pair of ballet flats at Old Navy, but they're not on the website yet. Sad day.
I also bought some clothes, but shoes are more fun, I think.

I just bought a pair too--have to buy new shoes in the fall-isn't that a rule??? (ha, ha)
ReplyDeleteThose black shoes are so fabulous!
