Target Run

I went to Target today to try to pick up that Jason Wu cat tee, but they were almost completely cleaned out of all things Wu. There were two XL tops, one XL dress, and nary a cat tee to be found. It was sad, but I was perked up by the fact that...

...it's bathing suit season at Target!

Target always has the cutest suits, and I've got my eye on this beauty:

I love this color and the fun detail, plus I think I'll look really tan. Although, I was sort of looking forward to getting a one-piece this year, like this one from Anthropologie:

I didn't get the t-shirt or the suit but, since it's Target, rest assured that I did not leave empty-handed.

I've been thinking about buying some colored denim for awhile and finally took the leap. I started with some red/hot pink jeans, but if they work out, I think I'll get some turquoise ones, too.

Also, I have been so fed up with my hair lately. It is mad static-y and the split ends are driving me crazy. I just used the last of my hairspray, so I bought the same kind again. This Tresemme stuff is pretty good; it's not sticky and it holds well and adds shine. I needed conditioner, too. I was scraping the last of it out of my sample bottle from last month's Birchbox, ha. I got some macadamia oil conditioner, simply because it smelled sooo good. I also needed a good protectant for my hair, because I have been heat styling it so much. Does anyone else have that problem? I feel like my hair doesn't look good unless I heat dry, straighten, or curl it!

Okay, so there's 500 words on my Target trip. Do I know how to keep it interesting, or what? ;)

  3. eliza's hair was the same way. do a deep conditioning treatment and then check your straightener. the coating wears off, we had to buy a new one. supposedly the "best" as far as non-professional ...they carry then at sephora. a pretty penny but it's supposed to last and not damage your hair.

  4. Target is ALWAYS interesting! I'm thinking about the bright denim trend but not sure if I'm brave enough yet - let me know how you like the red!
