Since Modern Family first premiered, it's been recommended to me time and again by many of my friends. I actually saw the last few minutes of the pilot episode back when it started, but for some reason I thought it was incredibly unfunny.
One of my co-workers streams the show at his desk during his lunch break, and the constant belly laughs from his direction convinced me to Netflix this show.
I am SO happy that I did! I've only seen the first disc of Season 1 so far, but I am already a convert. Every episode on the disc was a gem. Mitchell's obsessed with Costco, the grandpa flew his model airplane into Phil's face, Manny wore a poncho to school...all of these things made me laugh out loud.
Gloria is definitely my favorite character. I love her passion and accent. The way that she fawns over Manny is adorable, and I think the age difference between she and her husband is just hilarious. I also really love Manny and Cameron.

i watched the first 6 or 7 episodes when it first came out, then got busy! i should watch some more now that its on Netflix!
