The Fairest of Them All

Last night, Noah & I went on a Sunday night movie date to see Snow White & the Huntsman

Based on the trailer, the movie seemed pretty dark, so I didn't originally expect to see it. After reading this review, though, in the New York Times, I was swayed to watch it.

It wasn't light by any means, and some parts were downright hard to watch, but I really enjoyed it. I particularly loved the costuming and all of the special effects. The amazing graphics and excellent score make it a movie best seen on the big screen.

I don't think I'm alone in saying that Kristen Stewart isn't my fave (here's a secret: I actually think that her life should be my life! We're close in age, looks, and acting ability. Why not me?), but she didn't ruin the movie for me. There were a couple of moments when I cringed at her performance, but overall, I think she played the role well.

Perhaps my favorite part of this trip to the movies, though, was seeing this in the lobby...

Why not me? ;)
