WWJD?: Men

WWJD

Jackie Kennedy Onassis was obviously a woman who knew how to charm men. She was beautiful, intelligent, and elegant, and held the title of First Lady, something few women have achieved.

In their book, Shelly Branch & Sue Callaway share some of Jackie's secrets on dealing with men. A few of Jackie's key principles are maintaining mystery, choosing quality men for courtship and marriage, and using femininity to one's advantage.

Jackie's soft conversational voice & innocently flirtatious nature made her irresistible to the less fair sex. She was both cultured and well-read, but knew better than to intimidate men by showing off her smarts too quickly. When courting, Jackie would be sure to make her suitors feel interesting, plying them with questions, which served dual purposes, as it also allowed her to remain a closed book.

A few other tools in her arsenal included: making herself seem in demand by the opposite sex, letting others play matchmaker for her, cozying up to a potential father-in-law, and placing a premium on flattery in a mate.

  2. this book is my go-to for everything in life! today so many people put everything on the internet for everyone to see, and Jackie realized the intrigue of appearing mysterious. i don't think she would have liked that about facebook. I know that when i look at a cute guy's facebook and he doesn't have alot of information, i am more intrigued by him because of the mystery. "America's Queen" is a good Jackie bio
