Blog Anniversary

As of last Friday, April 1st, I have been writing Audrey Onassis for one year. It's been 12 months, 221 posts, and 41 followers since I started this little project with this incredibly awkward post. 

I really love being part of the blogging community and putting a little piece of my life out here into cyberspace. I never decided what the purpose of my blog is and sometimes people ask me what kind of a blog it is. I usually say that it's a "lifestyle blog", but even I'm not sure what that means. I mean, as far as I know, "lifestyle" means "whatever I feel like typing". In that sense, Audrey Onassis most certainly is a lifestyle blog, but I think that I've found a little more focus in the past year. When I write on here, I don't have a certain intention, but I find that I usually write to serve a purpose. The purpose of Audrey Onassis is to document my days and interests. I am constantly documenting- in my notebook, in my planner, on scrap paper...about food, outfits, or budgets- and Audrey Onassis is a beautiful place to keep my documentation organized and cohesive. I want it to be a story; a story of what I was like in the last years of college, how I felt about starting my career,and the things that are filling my head. Someday, I want to be able to read a story about what I currently consider the future. I guess that's the intention.

You know, maybe I haven't quite found my focus yet, afterall. 

Well, there's always next year, right?
