Yesterday at work, I had the opportunity to sit with an associate from another department to learn more about his duties and thus improve my own efficiency.
As he gave me an overview of his role at the company, I couldn't shake the feeling that he seemed very familiar to me. He works on another floor and, though we've spoken on the phone several times, I'd never met him in person until yesterday afternoon. Still, I felt like I'd known him far longer.
He was asking me what questions I had for him when it hit me. This guy is Wilson West's doppelganger. Do not even try to tell me that you don't know who Wilson West is. You and I both know that he was Mary Camden's teenage-father boyfriend on 7th Heaven.
It got increasingly harder to pay attention at that point.
While Fake Wilson is talking about plan administrators and case creation, my mind is screaming "You were widowed at sixteen!"
"So, Ariane, do you have any questions?"
Was it hard being a teenage father dating a minister's daughter?
Sometimes I can't believe they let me handle other people's money.
