30 Day Shred

Hey, folks.

So, remember Jazzercise?

Well, we had a good run. About five months, actually. I loved it, but it got to be kind of a logistical nightmare fitting in a workout before work with no shower in 110 degree heat.

Remember the mile challenge?

Yeah, me neither. I saw the treadmill maybe five times. & that's a pretty big maybe. Oh, also, I still haven't run a full mile without stopping.

Which brings me to the present. I was going to gym sporadically {Clueless, anyone?} for a couple of weeks, but those weeks do not include this one. I love chocolate and Cheez Its and eating gargantuan piles of pasta. I really don't want to have to compromise on those piles, you know? I have willed myself to be one of those women who can shove large portions of anything into their mouths and maintain their lovely size 0 frames. My stupid body is not cooperating. Drat.

Okay, so all of this silly workout/diet talk is leading me back to the post title. I am going to do the 30 Day Shred.
Yes, yes, I am.

Please join me in stalking all manner of before & after shots.

Look at these results! Sign me up. Okay, admittedly, I'm not post-partum or anything, but I do have disproportionately large thighs.

I really am trying to find pictures of people who did not recently drop babies, but I'm sort of having a time of it.

I will take before & after pictures of myself and, if I am feeling really brave, I may end up posting them.

I'm going to buy the DVD tomorrow, and I am thinking about putting in double sessions before my vacation in a week.

Have you done it? Is it awesome? Can I see your pictures?

I feel before we begin I should tell you that once I started to look at treats to make for Brother Peter, I really {and I mean REALLY} needed cake. soooo I did have just ONE slice of cake {a mini cake too, not a big one} and now I am sooooo down to do this! can I have my "before" picture after I have done a few?

  3. I have the DVD, it's great! The workouts are tough but they're only 20 minutes, and you can do anything for 20 minutes. Good luck!

  5. It's awesome. Intense, but effective. I did the shred for, like, a week a couple of years back (have still never made it to 30 days, oops) and I saw results. Expect to be in a bit of pain, though, those first few days!

  7. Day 1 of of SHRED IT.. I had no idea, I would be doing jumping jacks and butt kicks, also my dog was licking my face during the ab workouts, maybe I should play w/her before I start the DVD. Anyway, I'm tracking my results and can't wait for the end of this intense workout!! Thanks for sharing the DVD with us!
